DESCRIPTION:The Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP) is an online system that facilitates the safe resale of face-value tickets and vehicle passes that have been purchased directly from Burning Man. It’s designed to provide a hassle-free\, secure way of buying and selling tickets while avoiding scammers\, counterfeits and scalpers. \nSELLERS: \n\nRegistration for STEP opens to those wanting to sell tickets and vehicle passes on Wednesday\, March 11\, 2015\, 12pm (noon) PDT through the Burner Profiles.\nAny ticket order that has already begun the fulfillment and delivery process is no longer eligible for submission into STEP.\nFriday\, July 24\, 2015 at 12pm (noon) PDT is the last date/time that anyone with a Will Call order can submit a ticket for resale.\nOnly $390 tickets and vehicle passes can be sold through STEP—Pre-Sale tickets are not eligible.\nTicket sellers will not be refunded until their ticket(s) have been sold to another participant.\nRefunds will be processed to the card originally used to purchase the order.\n\nBUYERS: \n\nAnyone who has not already purchased a ticket through one of our other sales can register to purchase a ticket through STEP.\nRegistration for STEP takes place through the Burner Profiles beginning Thursday\, March 12\, 2015 at 12pm (noon) PDT\, for would-be ticket buyers.\nAvailability of tickets is dependent on participants releasing tickets into the program.\nAs soon as tickets are released into STEP they will be offered on a first-come\, first-served basis via email notifications to registered participants.\nIf you are offered ticket(s) through STEP you will have 72hrs to purchase before the ticket is released to the next person in the queue.\nFriday\, July 24\, 2015 is the last day ticket offer links will be sent out. Those links will be valid for 72 hours from the time they are sent.\nAnyone offered ticket(s) through STEP will also have the option to purchase one (1) vehicle pass.\nThere is an additional $6 per item STEP fee for tickets and vehicle passes bought through STEP. All other usual fees apply.\nTicket orders purchased in STEP are fully transferrable and eligible for name changes.\nNEW for 2015: Ticket orders purchased in STEP may opt to have their orders shipped.
